133/365 Big Event
This may not look like a "big event" to many, but to my little guy Sean this was HUGE! Last year he freaked when we tried to take him in the water but this year my nephew Ryan was able to get him in the water the first time out. It took him a little while, and thank goodness that Ryan was patient, but he eventually let go and walked in the water alone!! YEAH!! now on to swimming lessons

To me it looks like a big event - I've got a son that felt kind of the same way before. Well done (both Sean and Ryan). And great picture!
ReplyDeleteWell I feel the same way that Sean looks. I don't know why I'm afraid of the water, but I can get seasick standing ankle deep in the ocean.
ReplyDeleteThat is a biggie, I remember learning to swim, it wasn't so bad making it back to shore after Dad rowed the boat a mile out, It was getting out of the sack that was hard. LOL
ReplyDeleteI think it helps when the kids lead them - my boys used to be the same way! Way to go Sean!!
ReplyDeleteThat is wonderful! Great shot.
ReplyDeleteYea!! That's a huge step for him. Ryan is an awesome cousin to be so patient.
ReplyDeleteThat IS a big event! Ryan has done a great thing to get his cousin comfortable enough to start swim lessons. It is such an important life skill.
ReplyDeletea big event indeed! awesome teamwork there!
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Sean, this is a big event and he should be proud of himself!
